I still remember well how my father took family photos with an analogue camera. Later in the darkroom it was exciting to see how an image became visible on the exposed white paper.

Meanwhile a lot of time has been passed. I made my first experiences with an Olympus AF1 and a Canon EOS 5-QD, both analogue. End of 1999 I sold them and switched to Canon Digital IXUS 850 IS. At that time, this powershot camera was just right for me. It was small and handy. Most of my family photos were taken with this camera.

After a longer break, I rediscovered photography for myself. I started with a Canon 5D Mark III and IV. I have had great experiences with both models. In the meantime, I ended up with Leica I and M6, Hasselblad 203FE and Charmonix - analogue and Leica M10 and Q2 - digital.
